Graffiti Challenge - #53

Another drawing done for one of my students. This time I pulled Sakiah's name from the jar. She loved her picture! This time I used colored pencils for the background and markers for the letters. I am making progress towards my goal of 200 graffiti drawings. I can feel myself getting better with each drawing!

Ace - Graffiti Challenge #52

This one was done for an art battle I did with my students. Every 2 weeks we pick a new word. They can submit anything that they want but it has to include that word. I do it with them and the first place winner gets to keep my drawing. 

Graffiti Challenge - #51

Graffiti drawing number 51 was for Justin. When students are working quietly on their art projects and following directions I put their names in a jar. Every Friday I pull a random name from the jar then draw a graffiti picture using their name. The last name I pulled was for Justin and this is what I came up with.

This week's challenge over at I am the Diva was to use a red thread for the string. This is what I came up with:

Graffiti Challenge #50

Working my way up to 200 graffiti style drawings. This is another one done for one of my students. Each Friday I pick a name from a jar filled with names. This week I grabbed Azhane's name. The best part about doing these is seeing how excited students are when they see a drawing with their name on it hanging on my board.

#48 - Graffiti Challenge

#48 - marker on card stock. This one was drawn for one of my students. Each Friday I draw a name from a jar filled with the names of students who earned an entry into the prize jar by demonstrating good behaviors. This week Dawn's name was picked from the jar.

Netflix Envelope - Graffiti Challenge #47

My 2nd attempt at drawing on a Netflix envelope. This time I tried to use the barcode and window as part of the design. I used Sharpie markers and Prismacolor colored pencils.

My first attempt at artwork on a Netflix envelope. This makes number 45 for my graffiti challenge. I used markers and colored pencils on this.
